In Q3 2022, Latin America's top social networking applications displayed varied performance metrics across downloads, revenue, and active users. Data from Sensor Tower provides insights into these trends for the unified platform.

WhatsApp Messenger maintained a strong presence with weekly downloads fluctuating between 1.7M and 2M. The app saw its highest downloads in the week of July 11, reaching approximately 2M. Weekly revenue remained relatively stable, peaking at around $136 in the week of July 18. Active users steadily increased from 284M at the start of the quarter to 287M by the end of September.

Facebook experienced a notable spike in weekly downloads, especially in the week of August 29, with over 3M downloads. Revenue showed minor fluctuations, peaking at around $118K in the last week of June. The app's active user base remained robust, averaging around 304M throughout the quarter.

Messenger saw a consistent download rate, ranging between 1.3M and 1.6M weekly. Revenue peaked at approximately $751 in the week of August 8. However, active users showed a gradual decline from 104M at the beginning of the quarter to about 99M by the end of September.

Telegram Messenger had steady weekly downloads, averaging around 1.1M. Revenue saw a significant increase, peaking at $9.2K in the last week of September. Active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating around 29M throughout the quarter.

BeReal: Photos & Friends Daily showed remarkable growth in both downloads and active users. Weekly downloads surged from 24K at the end of June to over 700K by mid-September. Active users followed a similar trend, increasing from 298K to approximately 1.8M by the end of the quarter.
